Linda Noskova Wins Berlin Tittle

Linda Noskova of the Czech Republic defeated Jessica Pegula of the United States 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 to win the Berlin title and move into the top ten for the first time. The final was delayed by over five hours due to rain. When the players came back on court, Noskova came back strong to defeat Pegula 6-3 in the deciding third set. Noskova said to Pegula, “You’re incredible and a very tricky player to play on whatever surface.”

Marie Bouzkova Wins Nottingham Title

Marie Bouzkova of the Czech Republic defeated Emma Navarro of the United States 7-6, 4-6, 6-2 to win the title in Nottingham, England. It was Bouzkova’s second title of 2026 and her first ever on grass. Bouzkova overcame an ankle injury to win the first set in a tiebreak. Emma Navarro won the second set, but Bouzkova dominated the deciding set to take the title. Bouzkova wished her dad a happy Father’s Day during her victory speech.

Frances Tiafoe Wins All-American Final in Halle, Germany

Frances Tiafoe defeated fellow American Taylor Fritz in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4 to win the final in Halle, Germany. It was his first grass court title and the fourth of his career. Taylor Fritz defeated Alexander Zverev of Germany to make the final. He made the semifinals of the event in 2025, losing to Carlos Alcaraz of Spain.

Tiafoe said of his win, “Let’s keep going. Let’s enjoy this one. Let’s get ready for SW19 in a week.” He defeated three top ten players, Flavio Cobolli of Italy, Felix Auger-Aliassime of Canada and fellow American Taylor Fritz to become the first American to win at Halle.

Francisco Cerundolo Wins Queen’s Club Tournament in London

Francisco Cerundolo of Argentina defeated Tommy Paul of the United States 6-7, 6-4, 6-3 to win the Queen’s Club title in London. He won the title in three hours and two minutes on his fifth championship point. Cerundolo was emotional during his victory speech: “It’s not easy to speak right now. I want to thank my mom and dad; they arrived for the last two games. My dad has a phobia of planes. Since I was born, I never traveled with him and he never came to watch me in tournaments. He watched me Buenos Aires one time a year and at the Davis Cup. They just arrived and I just saw them when I went to celebrate.” 

Tommy Paul won at Queen’s Club in 2024, but missed 2025 due to an abdominal injury.  He said, “I want to congratulate Francisco and your team. We always seem to have unreal matches and today you were the better player, so I’m happy for you. Congrats.”
