Lindsey Vonn, Mikaela Shiffrin and Chloe Kim Named to U.S. Ski and Snowboard Teams

Lindsey Vonn, Mikaela Shiffrin and Chloe Kim, all returning Olympic champions, are the leading contenders for the United States skiing and snowboard teams at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina, Italy. Lindsey Vonn, gold medalist in the downhill skiing event in 2010, returned to competition in 2024 following a partial knee replacement. Mikaela Shiffrin will compete in her fourth Olympic Games. Chloe Kim hopes to win a third straight gold medal in the halfpipe event.

Snowboard program director Rick Bowen said, “In many ways, making this team is harder than the Olympics themselves. The depth of our field is incredible and selection truly came down to the wire.”
