Guadalajara, Mexico: Iva Jovic Wins Guadalajara Title

American Iva Jovic, 17, defeated Colombia’s Emiliana Arango 6-4, 6-1 to capture the Guadalajara title. With her win, the American, of Serbian parentage, has become the youngest champion of the 2025 season. With her victory over Arango, Jovic overtakes Mirra Andreeva as the youngest champion on the tour at 17 years, 283 days of age. Andreeva was 17 years, 299 days of age when she won in Dubai in February, 2025.

Jovic is the youngest American to win a tour-level title since Coco Gauff won in Parma in 2021.

Sao Paulo, Brazil: Tiantsoa Sarah Rakotomanga Wins Unexpected Title in Sao Paulo

Frenchwoman Tiantsoa Sarah Rakotomanga, 19, wone an unexpected title over Janice Tjen of Indonesia, 6-3, 6-4. She said of her win, “It’s incredible. I wasn’t the favorite in the , tournament. I played match by match and point by point. I could have lost in the first round. I’m very happy and grateful for what I did and what happened here. I know a champion like me is unusual, but I fought for every point and every match, so I think I deserve it.”

Tiantsoa Sarah Rakotomanga was born in Madagascar but has French citizenship. She was known as Tiantsoa at school, but answers to Sarah on the tennis court.
