Who will emerge victorious in the 2025 WNBA Playoffs? The top teams so far appear to be the top-seeded Lynx and the number four seeded Liberty. The following teams have already clinched a playoff berth: the Lynx; the Dream; the Aces; the Mercury; the Liberty; the Valkyries and the Fever. So far, the Lynx and Liberty are the only two teams locked in according to seeding. The Sparks and the Storm are battling for the eighth and final spot. If the Sparks lose to the Mercury on September 16, 2025, they will be eliminated from contention.

The playoffs begin Sunday, September 14, 2025 and will run until Friday, October 17, 2025, if the tournament reaches a seventh game.
