“A Turkey’s Adventure”

Dana Wall-Oakley tells the story of Kevin, “the juiciest turkey in the barnyard,” in her story, “A Turkey’s Adventure.” Kevin knows he will be invited to dinner, but not in a good way. He meets up with different characters in the story. The first is Tyrone, the kitchen rat, a member of the Barnyard Bureau of Investigation (BBI). Kevin is entered into the Barnyard Witness Relocation Protection Program (BWRPP) to conceal his identity. With the help of Nigel, a large fish, who works at the cabbage stand, he gets as far away from the barnyard as possible. He meets Constance, who takes him to an underwater city with a dome. Kevin is happy he is no longer in danger of being dinner.  Kevin’s adventures are fun for everyone.
